In 2003 Taylor Lane Designs was founded to fill a void that was apparent in the garment industry. The corset has long been viewed as an undergarment or something you would only wear to an elaborate occasion and are mostly only available in the common over bust or under bust styles. It became Taylor Lane's mission to bridge the gap between the corset and everyday clothing by breaking out of the box.

Taylor is dedicated to the art of sculpting a woman's body through corsetry. "I love puzzles, and corset making is just that, it is about figuring out how to construct a garment that will mold the wearer's body to perfection and still be comfortable at the same time".
